Set the Workpiece Origin

The zero point of each axis in the toolpath is the workpiece origin. Before machining, you need to define the actual position of the workpiece origin on the sheet.

Operation Steps:

Select any of the following ways:

• In the drawing interface, drag the cross mark at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical ruler in the drawing area to the target position.

  

• In the machine control bar, specify the position of the cutting head as the workpiece origin:

  1. To move the cutting head to the target position, click →, ←, ↑, ↓.

  2. To set the current position as the workpiece origin, click .

• To specify the coordinate of X-axis / Y-axis as the workpiece origin: In the Machine page, click Machine Assist → Multi-coordinate, after selecting the axes, choose to set the workpiece coordinates of the current coordinate system to zero.

• Manually set the workpiece origin:

  1. In the function menu bar, click . The cursor turns into.

  2. Left click to specify the workpiece origin.

  3. To exit specifying the workpiece origin, right click.
