Setting CCD working plane
CCD working plane refers to the XY plane at focal height. To set the working plane is to set the focal height in Z-axis.
Prerequisite
Well adjust focal length and aperture of the camera lens. See camera lens for details.
Steps
- Turn the system to Manual mode, click Vision → CCD → Parameters → Manufacturer → Measure to switch to Measure interface.
- Adjust Z-axis height and fine tune the knob on the camera.
- When the photo in camera sight becomes enough clear, click Get Current. The system records the current height.
It proves that when the magnification factor sets to 15X, the camera gets the best adjusting result. In this case, working distance needs to be within 120mm~130mm.
Once the working plane is set, it will be the height for Z-axis in the processes of measuring magnification factor, CCD-spindle offset, picking template and shooting. In addition, the height is independent to workpiece coordinate system.
